Imagine... Sitting in your baby's nursery as you rock and nurse her. It is so quite and peaceful during these times. As she settles into the routine, you are able to lean back and enjoy this little oasis you've created for the two of you. You look around the room and see images of you before she was born. Images of expectation and beauty. They create a story and a legacy of the time right before she fully came into your life. Alongside your maternity portraits, you also see the beautifully crafted images of your newborn baby, so tender and innocent. A sleeping baby, tiny fingers and toes... probably a little naked bottom too! You are surrounded by images of the life you have created and brought into this world. All is as it should be.
Our Vision... This is what we think of when we envision our clients. And it is why they come to us for their pregnancy and newborn photography. This is such an incredibly special time in your life and we know that. For our expectant mamas and papas, it is a time of preparation and excitement with a little fear mixed in for the first timers. For some of our clients, you've been through this before and while not all of it is unexpected, it may be the first time you've had the opportunity to invite a professional photographer into this experience with you. Maternity photographs and the experience of creating them are such an intimate thing, and the experience of having your newborn photographed is something that will only happen once. For all of those reasons and more, we make sure that the images we create for you will bring you back to that place of expectation and love every time you look at them. Our principle photographer at Life Prints Portrait Design is Lora Phillippi. She is truly passionate about what she does and you will feel that as you work with her in creating your portraits. The relationship you develop with your photographer for both pregnancy portraits and baby pictures is incredibly important. When you are able to feel at ease with your photographer, the fun & brightness as well as the love, awe and happiness of these special times in your life are able to shine through in the images that Lora creates for you. This is an experience that will happen very few times in your life, and we want to make sure that it is an experience that you can honestly tell your friends and family you LOVED. You have a lot of choices in photographers. Why choose us then? You're doing your research, right? You're looking at the websites, calling around, getting a feel for who is out there and of course, "what are they charging?" If you haven't been referred directly to a photographer by a friend, then there are a lot of choices to look at.
