"The word Photography means "to paint with light".  I love being able to paint a picture of who people are through the images I create."

                                                     ~Lora

Lora has had a camera in her hand since she was a teenager.  She realized her true passion for photography after her son was born.  While he is her first love, she soon realized that having the opportunity to spend an hour or two capturing the amazing beauty of an expectant mom or a newborn baby was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life in terms of her career.

She loves both the opportunity to flex her creative muscles with these intimate portrait sessions, and even more than that, she loves getting to know the moms and babies who come in front of her camera.

Sue is the studio manager at Life Prints, but we just call her our "get it done woman".  While she tends to like to stay behind the scenes, she keeps us running smoothly and is the backbone of the studio.

Sue came on board with the studio in 2009 and boy are we glad she did!!  Sue not only manages the studio but she is also our primary digital artist.  We hope you'll get to meet her if she ever pokes her head out from behind her computer!

We are proud members of the following professional associations and volunteer organizations:

Professional Photographers of America  (PPA)

National Association of Photoshop Professionals  (NAPP)

Professional Photographers of Idaho  (PPofI)

Wedding and Portrait Photographers International  (WPPI)

Operation: Love ReUnited

Developing a relationship with our clients

We believe in people first and foremost.  We love being able to get to know our clients so that we can really understand how they are feeling and what is important to them.  We want everyone who we photograph to feel like family and know that they are going to experience a portrait session unlike any they ever have in the past.  What we won't do is rush through our sessions with our clients just to get to the next session.  We want to develop a personal relationship with each of them.  We want them to think of us as friends and somebody that they feel comfortable with.  Once that happens, then we are able to create beautiful images that really represent who they are, where they are at in their lives right now and what is really important to them that will make their images meaningful rather than just a snapshot to put in a book somewhere.

Our Philosophy in life

Another important aspect to our lives, as well as to our business, is our belief in the concept of "paying it forward".  We have been given so many wonderful opportunities in our lives and we believe that it is important to give back to our community and the people around us.  We would encourage you to take a look at the Giving Back page to learn about some of the organizations that Life Prints is involved with.  If you or somebody that you know can benefit from any of these services, please give us a call or send us an email so that we can help out.

A note from a member of the studio...

Hi.  I'm Toren, the assistant photographer.  Mom couldn't get along without me!   Really, I'm the brains behind the whole operation.  I'm 7, so just ask me!

(and if your little one hasn't reached 7 years old yet, you'll understand that above comment when they get there, lol!)

And of course, we can't leave out our little Shay...

What a sweetie!
