Children

Giggles, laughter, smiles... that's our goal for your child's portrait.  Really, it's not too hard to get because that's what kids really want to be doing anyway.  It's our job to create the right atmosphere to let all of that happiness and joy come bubbling out.

We often have parents come in for their viewing appointment and say "I can't believe you actually got these fantastic pictures of our kids.  We didn't think you were going to get anything good out of that session!"

Why would they say that you ask?  Because what they saw happening was their kids goofing around and playing instead of sitting still and posing like we've all been taught to do when we go to the photographers.  Emma wouldn't quit lifting her dress up and Owen's hair had come "un-gelled".  The photographer was a sweaty mess by the time the session was over... but for some reason she was laughing (mom and dad thought that it was from the stress and that she was just trying to put on a good face.)

The truth... your kids were having fun, your photographer Lora was having fun, and you don't like stuffy posed pictures anyway.

The result... gorgeous pictures of your children with expressions on their faces that you recognize and amazing artwork to hang in your home that showcases the craziest, happiest kids you know.
