We got
some great responses last month to our model search and
we've been able to shoot some sessions with the cutest
little babies around! We still have a need for some
pregnancy and newborn sessions though, so we've decided to
continue our model search for a bit longer.
With the start
of the new year, we've got some fantastic new lighting techniques and all around great ideas that we need
to perfect and get sample images of. Because of this,
it's your lucky day if you're chosen to be included as one
of our models!
We
still have two categories for which we are searching for models,
but we've narrowed the search down a bit:
We
need approximately 5 expectant moms who will be between 7-9
months pregnant at the time of the session.
We
also need 8 newborns, and our criteria for the newborn
sessions are very narrow. We will accept applications
for newborns who will be under two weeks old at the
time of the session, however, what we REALLY need are little
ones who are under one week old. Our preferred age
is 4-5 days old.
Have
you ever seen images of newborn babies where the little one
is all curled up in a ball sound asleep? These little
contortionists loose some of this flexibility after their
first week, so our goal is work with them during this
special time that they still sleep most of the time and are
oh so flexible. Then we add some special elements to
the images to accentuate your little ones sweetness.
All of this is what adds to the magic of those amazing
images we are able to provide to our clients.
And
we'd like you to be a part of creating these magical and
touching newborn images for our website and other studio
uses.
Once
we find the expectant moms and babies that we feel will work
best for the sessions we are planning, we will meet with
each of them for a session planning
meeting. For the maternity sessions, we will be
covering a range of styles both indoors and outdoors, as
well as a variety of clothing options from fully clothed, to
draping material to fully nude. We reserve the right
to conduct the session per our criteria, but those that
apply can specify which types of sessions they would be
willing to pose for.
Here is
what our model search participants will receive (at no
charge!):

An on location
portrait session
-
a $50 product
credit to use towards purchasing prints from the
session. As an added incentive for this model
search, we will increase the product credit to $100
for our moms and dads who are able to get their
newborn session completed before the baby is 7 days
old.

a 20% discount
off any purchases you may choose to make from the
sessions. (If you are chosen as one of our
models, there is NO obligation to purchase any
images from the sessions and there will be no
pressure to do so.)
As an
added bonus for our maternity models, they will be given
first priority in having the opportunity to have their
newborn photographed as one of our baby models. In
order to take advantage of this, the newborn session must be
completed within 7 days of the baby's birth.
